
The finish of this lipstick looks really good on the mouth, and the texture is such that it evenly covers lips without bleeding because it isn’t runny or clay-ey despite being a liquid. So, when you apply the liquid lipstick, it sets into an ink-like texture which comes off a little if wiped with something like lip balm. The formula itself is thick and feels rubbery when it goes on. Removing this lipstick, in fact, is a task, so don’t try to take it off with mere soap and water because you will need an industrial-strength oil cleanser for this. This is a matte lipstick, as the name suggests, so one expects it to be long-lasting, and it definitely delivers. The rest go on and stay on without moving. The payoff from each shade varies but it is uniformly opaque across colours, barring the streaky yet gorgeous eggplant colour, Believer, which can be a bit patchy. The complete range includes blue and grey lipsticks as well, in addition to some hues yet to launch here. In India, however, not all the shades are available. The intense pinks and reds aside, there are loads of unique browns, maroons, and even purples in this collection, giving each complexion category a whole bunch of lipsticks to choose from. There are some lipstick collections which have shade ranges that scream Caucasian, but this one doesn’t even go into pale territory, despite the existence of some very pretty nudes.
